July was wonderful! I can't stand to see it come to an end. It was also very, very eventful. Brent, Brian, and I drove to Orem to do some Major Missionary Shopping. Mission Accomplished! We were able to get pretty much everything on his list. That was a really fun trip. We also went to the Temple on July 22nd for Brian to take out his endowments. That was kind of crazy because the session was really, really full. There were a total of 6 people taking out their own endowments plus it was ward temple night for one of them. Anyway the temple president made a decision to split the session. Needless to say I was disappointed to not make it into the celestial room before Brian did. Chanae, Michael, and Dallin were waiting for us when we got done so we all went to dinner at Olive Garden and helped Grandpa and Grandma Wilson celebrate their 42nd wedding anniversary. We all had a fun time.
We all enjoyed the Wilson Family Reunion. The activities were fun and it was exciting to see who had dart skills, sling shot skills, and gun skills. Thanks to those of you who brought the four wheelers...that kind of topped it off! Especially seeing the kids come back from their ride soaking wet.
Brian turned the big 19, on July 27th, his last year being a teenager. He got speakers for is ipod that he will take on his mission, so he can listen to Tab Choir.
Chanae will finish her basic esthetician class the end of Aug. and will have a graduation ceremony on Aug. 27th. Then she will start the Master class Sept. 2nd and be done with that the end of Dec. We are so proud of her for her accomplishment. She has been blessed to be one of the top students in her class, work part-time, and get in a little bit of socializing. Although I’m pretty sure that she wishes she had more time for socializing.
Michael and Dallin worked in Enterprise for about 2 weeks. We were hoping that they would be working up there for all of July. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough work to keep the kids busy for the whole month. But they did have a lot of fun and made some pretty good money.
We are NOT looking forward to summer coming to an end. But I guess we will all survive as usual. We are looking forward to the Gubler Reunion. Those are always great fun. I heard from Kalyn that we will be having a family volleyball competition, so make sure that you practice up on your volleyball skills so our family can kick butt. just like we did in tug a war!
