Well it has been six weeks since Elder Wilson has come home, and we surely didn't think that he would still be here. He got home on Feb 9th, had his surgery Feb 11th and was well enough to be headed back to Brazil on Feb 14th. At first it didn't look like he would be able to go back to Brazil because of the visa problem, but now the mission office is working on getting a tourist visa for Brian so he can go back. So he is now enduring and having patients. Elder Wilson did get to see his best friend Elder Jolley come home from his mission on Feb 10th, the day after he got home. And we were at the airport to greet Elder Morwood and went to his homecoming this last Sunday.
Elder Wilson gets to go to work with his comp (his Mom) everyday, except for those rare occasions that Chanae or Brent are off work. This week he will be serving in the Temple and working in the Bishop's Store House so I'm sure that will be good for a change. As it sits right now he has an itinerary to leave for Brazil on March 29th.
We did help Elder Wilson celebrate his 18 month mark on March 17th. He burned 4 pairs of dress slacks (that his mom said he was NEVER wearing again.) and we went to lunch at the Made in Brazil Restaurant. It was very very yummy. The drinks were sooooooo good.
Michael and Dallin's Band "Watch the Skies" participated in Region Battle of the Bands. To go to State you had to be one of the top 3 bands, which they didn't make. So that was a disappointment. Although Dallin did fill in for a drummer in another band that did go to State, so that was a good experience for him.
Only 2 more months and Michael will graduate. HURRAY!! Then we only have to endure 2 more years of high school with Dallin.
