Happy Birthday Brent

Today is Brent's Birthday.....he turned 40 something! After a quick dinner with 2 of our boys at Article Circle we decided to go to Grandma and Grandpa Gubler's to pick us a handful of ripe Apricots. Brent climbed the tree (like he does every year) and started to pick the ones in the upper branches that were more ripe. The branch he was in hangs over a stair well that goes down to a celler, and it hangs over the celler. The roof actually comes up under part of the tree. Well all of a sudden the branch started to break and Brent hung on as he rode the branch down, luckily landing on the roof and not falling into the steep stair well. Needless to say we came home with a WHOLE LOT MORE than we had planned. And it took us a good hour (with the help of his parents and sister) to clean up the big mess. Unfortunately I didn't think to take any good pics of the BIG BRANCH that came down. He does have a few battle wounds but that's about it.....thank heavens.
